A bit out of proportion

I liked the movie, but it would have been far better if the camera wasn't set so far back. The stick enemies were stationary until the hero made it to them, so there wouldn't be a problem if for the first few seconds in a scene showed the entire map, then zoomed in for some up close stick action. Excellent animation, despite the fact that it was microscopic.

Above Average Canadian Production

The passing of the loonie (dollar) was a dead give-away. I liked the humour, but some of it was just a tad too subtle. The audio recording needs work, the on and offing of the static was disappointing, as well as the over-sized opening credits. Good movie all the same, and nice job finding all the voice actors to play the parts.

Go Canada... yea, the audio was probably the biggest weakness of this. I need to hook up something better than recording people with my digital camcorder and extracting the audio, but I needed something portable =). There's gonna be a sequel, and everything (including humour) will be a notch better.

Good Frame-by-Frame

You need to fix the circle closing at the end, the real Loony Tunes closes a bit faster. Other than that, creative video.

Cheery Movie

I don't understand. The movie was all about having good times in the Christmas season, but the audio was all about how terrible a man's life is and how bad the world is. Why didn't you choose some festive soundtrack to go along with the movie, which would have been more suiting?

Stellar Work

I loved the commentaries... vote 6. Stunning animation, I'm especially impressed at how you were able to team up with LegendaryFrog on this one, the added humor was well implemented. Fantastic voices, although I think you could have chosen a different voice for Roy, it didn't seem quite human. Roy's long flashback seemed a bit monotonous, but other than that, EXCELLENT movie. I can't wait for you PK4.

What do you mean there are no muffins?!? NOOOO!!!

Decent Movie, but Compress!

The graphics were fine, but you really need to take a few tutorials on sound compression. There are some available on ng and ALL over the net. There is no reason why this file should've been over 1MB. None the less, your animation was fine, but learn some grammar! This movie clearly pertains to seriousness, what with the death of Princess Toadstool, therefore, you must also use appropriate word choice to enhance the integrity of the film. Also, to improve the animation, make the continue story button (mushroom) stay at a common position, that would make the movie run a bit smoother.

Music... Too... Catchy...

I really liked the music you used for the end, although it wouldn't have hurt to cut it after the credits finished. Here I am nearly 5 minutes after the animation is finished still listening to the unlooped soundtrack... none the less, good movie.

Oh I forgot to put credits on it! I got that song from:

Decent Movie

I watched it until the end, I didn't understand why you needed to keep the movie in black and white the whole time. Nice use of gradients, but try not to rely on them too heavily. I liked the shadow effect you gave the tonberry. Very cool fight scene, although it could have been a bit smoother. I was anticipating the "doink" ever since you introduced the tonberry, I smiled when you doinked :D Overall good movie, although you really should learn to spell a little better...

Impressive

Loved your movie. The fight scene was too short, but what was in it, was excellent. Try to get the voices a little louder, more clear, and perhaps subtitles? Great 3D effects, found them to be the greatest asset to the film. I look forward to the sequels. This movie looks a little bit like the Kenshin OVA, did you get any inspiration from that, or is this all original story? Depending on how much plot you want to put in, it might take years to complete this project, that is, if you continue with the current quality. Keep up the good work.

The Resemblance is Uncanny

Your animation is almost exactly the same as mine! I didn't copy off of you, I swear, but if you look at my one and only animation, there are tons of similarities. Knights, darkness, climactic setting, bubbles, some blurb about a king, and all that. The only MAJOR difference between the two is that yours was actually well done ;) Nice work.

Eternal-Panda responds:

rofl, thanks man.

Remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else. Don't try to reach for the stars, they will burn your hands.
